About the Role
The Regional Environment Health & Safety (EHS) Advisor plays a vital role in supporting the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of VetPartners' Environment, Health & Safety strategy. You will work closely with clinical and non-clinical teams across your region to promote a positive safety culture, provide expert advice, and ensure compliance with legal and organisational standards. This is a permanent role offering the opportunity to influence health and safety practices across multiple sites within the veterinary sector.
Key responsibilities include acting as the primary point of contact for health and safety matters within the region, conducting audits, inspections and risk assessments, supporting incident investigations, delivering training, and collaborating with regional leaders to embed a proactive safety culture. You will also support legislative compliance, emergency planning, contractor management, and facilities safety where applicable.
Experience
- Demonstrable experience in a multi-site health and safety advisory role
- Experience with incident investigation and root cause analysis methodologies (e.g. 5 Whys, Fishbone)
- Experience in veterinary, healthcare, agricultural, or commercial sectors is desirable

Qualifications
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent (minimum)
- Minimum Tech IOSH, working towards Cert/CMIOSH status
