Salary
£35,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)

About the Role
The Regional Environment Health & Safety (EHS) Advisor plays a vital role in supporting the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of VetPartners' Environment, Health & Safety strategy. You will work closely with clinical and non-clinical teams across your region to promote a positive safety culture, provide expert advice, and ensure compliance with legal and organisational standards. This is a full-time, permanent role with flexibility for part-time working.

You will act as the primary point of contact for health and safety matters across practices within your allocated region, supporting the implementation of the VetPartners HSE strategy and safety management system. Key responsibilities include conducting audits, inspections, and risk assessments; advising on incident investigations; delivering training and toolbox talks; monitoring risk and COSHH assessments; supporting legislative compliance; collaborating with regional leaders to embed a proactive safety culture; analysing incident trends; supporting emergency planning; and assisting with contractor and facilities safety.

Requirements

Experience
- Demonstrable experience in a multi-site health and safety advisory role.
- Experience with incident investigation and root cause analysis methodologies (e.g. 5 Whys, Fishbone).
- Experience in the veterinary, healthcare, agricultural, or commercial sectors is desirable.

- Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel frequently within the region.

Qualifications
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent (minimum).
- Minimum Tech IOSH - working towards Cert/CMIOSH status.
