About the Role
The Regional Environment Health & Safety (EHS) Advisor plays a vital role in supporting the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of VetPartners' Environment, Health & Safety strategy. You will work closely with clinical and non-clinical teams across your region to promote a positive safety culture, provide expert advice, and ensure compliance with legal and organisational standards. This is a full-time, permanent role with flexibility for part-time applicants.
Key responsibilities include acting as the primary point of contact for health and safety matters across practices within the allocated region, supporting the implementation of the VetPartners HSE strategy and safety management system, conducting audits, inspections, and risk assessments, and providing advice on incident investigations. You will deliver health and safety training, monitor risk assessments and safe systems of work, support legislative compliance, collaborate with regional leaders to embed a proactive safety culture, analyse incident trends, and assist with emergency planning and contractor management.

Experience
- Demonstrable experience in a multi-site health and safety advisory role
- Experience with incident investigation and root cause analysis methodologies (e.g. 5 Whys, Fishbone)
- Experience in veterinary, healthcare, agricultural, or commercial sectors (desirable)

Qualifications
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent (minimum)
- Minimum Tech IOSH, working towards Cert/CMIOSH status
