About the Role
Are you an expert in Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality Management looking to make a significant impact across a busy, multi-site organisation? This role offers the opportunity to lead and improve SHEQ performance across the UK, driving compliance and continuous improvement. You will champion the implementation of the SHEQ strategy, utilise incident reporting and trend analysis to identify risks, and develop regional strategies to eliminate incidents. Additionally, you will implement corporate environmental initiatives to meet emissions targets, reduce waste, and improve water efficiency. Supporting local teams with legal compliance and working directly with customers to align SHEQ performance with their expectations are key aspects of this role. This position combines strategic leadership with hands-on operational execution, offering a mix of office and remote working with travel flexibility.

Experience
- Minimum 3 years of SHEQ experience within complex organisations, including manufacturing and service environments
- Proven ability to drive SHEQ strategy and performance across diverse regions and industries

- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach balancing long-term planning and day-to-day operations
- Commercially aware with experience working directly with customers and clients to align SHEQ initiatives with business needs
- Excellent reporting, analytical skills and knowledge of facilities management and maintenance
Qualifications
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
- Technical knowledge of SHEQ legislation, risk management, training, and environmental compliance
- Familiarity with ISO standards 9001, 45001 and BRCGS
