About the Role
Thames21 is an environmental charity working across London and the Thames Basin to deliver high-impact, nature-based solutions addressing the climate and biodiversity crisis by restoring rivers and connecting communities to their local green-blue spaces. We are seeking a Reporting and Finance Officer to support The Roding Rises project, a three-year initiative funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund aimed at revitalising the River Roding.
The successful candidate will work closely with Thames21’s Head of Finance and The Roding Rises Project Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day financial operations for the project. This includes budget management, bookkeeping, timely processing of funding claims and invoices, and assisting with reporting to funders. The role requires a strong eye for detail and experience in financial administration to maintain accurate and efficient financial tracking.
This is a fixed-term contract for 3.25 years starting January 2026, offering flexible working arrangements and the opportunity to contribute to meaningful environmental restoration and community engagement.
