About the Role
Uplift is an impact-oriented research and campaigning organisation dedicated to supporting a rapid and fair transition away from oil and gas in the UK. Our goal is to make the UK a global first-mover on phasing out oil and gas production in line with climate limits and ensuring a just settlement for the workforce. We are seeking an exceptional candidate to provide research support that will drive forward our strategic policy advocacy at a critical time for the climate movement both in the UK and globally. In this role, you will support our team to ensure that Uplift’s and its partners’ work is informed by the latest research, insight, and intelligence to maximise impact. Your work will include ensuring campaigns are backed by up-to-date data and analysis, conducting research to inform decision-makers, partners, and the broader movement. This is a diverse role at the heart of our efforts to support a just transition away from oil and gas extraction. The successful candidate will bring exceptional quantitative research skills and a strong interest in climate and energy-related campaigns, alongside a firm commitment to Uplift's mission and core values.

Experience
- Exceptional quantitative research skills
- Experience in conducting research to support policy advocacy or campaigning is highly desirable
- Interest and knowledge in climate, energy, or related fields
