Grade C - £28,148 - £32,519 gross per annum, depending upon experience, plus 8% employer pension contribution.
About the Role
We're looking for an enthusiastic, driven, and self-motivated individual to join Butterfly Conservation’s Nature Recovery team. This new role will involve working with colleagues, partners, contractors, and volunteers to deliver essential management work on our nature reserves in the South West of England. The successful candidate will oversee and provide delivery of day-to-day operations on our reserves, meeting the conservation and restoration objectives through practical work, managing locally based volunteers, supporting management planning, and monitoring responses of target species to positive management actions. Experience
Good understanding of land management for wildlife conservation. Proven experience of delivering habitat management targeting species outcomes and assessing results. Experience of procurement and contract management. Experience of working with volunteers, partners, and the general public.
About you
Enthusiastic and self-motivated with a passion for wildlife conservation. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups.
Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in conservation, ecology, or a related field are desirable but not essential.
