About the Role
Warmer Homes London (WHL) is an ambitious organisation backed by the Mayor of London and London Councils, dedicated to making Londoners’ homes greener, healthier, and more affordable to heat. WHL is delivering £231 million in government funding to retrofit homes, focusing initially on social housing, private rentals, and low-income owner-occupied homes. As the Retrofit Strategy and Services Director, you will lead WHL’s service design and delivery functions to meet Delivery Plan commitments and strategic objectives. You will build and lead a high-performing team with expertise in asset data, supply chain development, funding and finance solutions, and user-centred service design. You will champion a test and learn approach, embedding service innovation grounded in clear outcomes, robust evidence, and collaborative working. As a visible leader within London’s net zero community, you will forge partnerships with local, regional, national, and international stakeholders to create valued, scalable, and impactful retrofit enabling services.

Experience
Proven leadership in service design and delivery within retrofit, energy efficiency, or related sectors. Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and complex projects. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans and foster innovation.

Qualifications
A relevant degree or equivalent experience in energy, environmental science, engineering, or related fields is desirable. Strong knowledge of retrofit, housing, or public sector delivery is advantageous.
