Job Description Venesky-Brown are looking for a Risk Manager to join the Sizewell C PMO team in Suffolk. This is a day rate contract which will be hybrid working and can be based in the Suffolk or London offices. This role would suit someone from a Construction/Civil Engineering sector background. The project has started construction and is now seeking private investment. When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, which along with renewables, will support Britain to achieve Net Zero by 2050. Job Purpose / Overview The purpose of the role is to support risk management within a local SZC programme/ similar, assist with compliance with SZC’s PMO risk management direction, and genuinely help safeguard the programme area from major overruns. Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, Experience: Knowledge & Skills Facilitation skills; able to independently facilitate workshops within programme. Technical skills; able to independently deliver QRAs, spanning Cost QRAs and Schedule QRAs Linked capability to integrate/ support breadth of project controls/ project delivery/ business support processes (e.g. Finance) Good engagement skills; able to independently engage teams such as project and corporate professionals Project management and broader project controls experience desirable.
