
Location
Colne Valley Park Visitor Centre, Denham, Nr. Uxbridge with options for Hybrid/flexible working.
Hours
30 hours per week (For the right candidate we would be willing to consider alternative work patterns from 22.5 hours/week to 37.5).
Salary
£37,000 - £45,000 pro rata.
About the Role
The Colne catchment is a special place with a diverse range of waters covering over 1000km2 across parts of Herts, Bucks, London, Berks and Surrey. As the Rivers Technical Specialist, you will develop and deliver rivers and wetlands projects, oversee specialist contractors, manage a rivers project officer, and advise and support colleagues delivering rivers and wetland habitat projects. Our office, located in the middle of a country park right next to a chalk stream, is a unique and inspiring place to work.

Experience
Experience in project management and delivery of rivers and wetlands projects is desirable.

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in environmental science, ecology, or a related field are preferred.
