About the Role
The Farm Carbon Toolkit (FCT) is a leading, independent farmer-led enterprise dedicated to supporting farmers and growers in reducing their carbon emissions and enhancing carbon sequestration. With over 10 years of experience, we provide tools for measuring greenhouse gas emissions in agriculture and deliver projects that inspire real action on the ground. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a passionate and purpose-driven team. We are looking for an experienced farm sustainability expert with a proven track record of working directly with farmers. In this role, you will lead projects that assist farms across the UK in understanding their carbon footprint and taking practical steps towards a fair, just, and nature-friendly decarbonisation. You will also be part of the senior team, contributing to the development of new business opportunities, partnerships, and projects that enable us to work with more farmers and advance the industry. As part of our advisory team, you will report to the Technical and Business Development Director and have management responsibilities for advisors and sub-contracted staff.

Experience
Proven experience in farm sustainability and working directly with farmers.

Passionate about farming and sustainability, with a collaborative and empathetic approach. You should be adaptable and thrive in a remote working environment while being committed to supporting farmers in their transition to low-carbon practices.

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in agriculture, environmental science, or a related field are desirable.
