About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Analyst to join our team. You will have a genuine passion for making a difference and a desire to work with the business world to achieve that. You will be interested and inquisitive, have excellent communication skills, and be able to manage competing priorities and deadlines. Senior Analysts are an integral part of the BRODIE team, working on UK and international client projects. You will engage in a range of strategy, engagement, communications, and operational projects for UK-based and international clients. You will also support the end-to-end delivery of public-facing reports, which will be both sustainability and issue-specific.
Key Responsibilities
- Client project delivery (80%)
- Shaping (with support) and conducting desk-research on a wide range of topics including sustainability topics and company performance
- Analysing quantitative data and forming summaries and opinions from the data
- Writing briefing papers for clients on key topics
- Supporting the creation of training and engagement programmes
- Managing projects with support from senior colleagues
- Managing agendas and minutes for client meetings
- Crunching numbers and datasets, making sense of complex information
- Business Development (5%)
- Supporting the development of project pitches and proposals
- Providing design support for BRODIE documents in line with brand guidelines
- Knowledge management and continuous learning (10%)
- Sharing research and insights with the wider team
- Preparing presentations, research materials, and written reports
- Organisational Management (5%)
- Supporting the operation of projects in line with BRODIE processes and systems
- Providing support for analysts offering practical advice and encouragement
- Attending BRODIE team meetings and training
Experience
A minimum of 18 months’ experience working in corporate sustainability (or closely connected field).
About you
The ideal candidate will have the desire to be part of a small yet fast-growing company and have a proven track record of corporate sustainability. While not essential, experience in ESG/sustainability reporting, communications, and project management is desirable.
Qualifications
Educated to bachelor’s degree level with good knowledge of issues surrounding environmental and social topics, such as climate change, nature, human rights, and DE&I.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Familiarity with the recommendations of key disclosure standards (e.g., CSRD, CSDDD, TCF, TNFD, SASB, SBT) would be an advantage.
- Working knowledge and experience of regulatory-related communications and reporting.
- Experience supporting creative workshops, communications, and reporting projects.
