As a Senior Associate Sustainability Consultant, you will play a pivotal leadership role within our growing Sustainability team. You will lead and deliver complex sustainability projects focused on net zero pathways, carbon reduction strategies, biodiversity net gain, ESG and climate risk frameworks, and environmental certifications such as BREEAM, LEED, and WELL. This role combines business development (50%), team leadership (30%), and process improvement (20%), offering a unique opportunity to influence service direction, mentor emerging talent, and build long-term client relationships both in the UK and internationally.

Experience
- Extensive experience in sustainability consulting within the built environment sector
- Proven expertise in private and public sector sustainability strategy consulting
- Strong knowledge of ESG certifications (BREEAM, LEED, WELL)
- Expertise in carbon accounting, net zero and decarbonisation strategies including GHG Protocol and SBTi
- Experience with net zero trajectories, carbon scenario modelling, and climate risk scenarios
- Familiarity with nature-based solutions and Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) frameworks
- Understanding of climate risk and resilience frameworks such as TCFD
- Demonstrated commercial acumen with a track record of winning and growing client accounts
- Experience managing teams, budgets, and complex project portfolios
- Proficient in data platforms and sustainability analytics tools

Qualifications
- Degree in sustainability, environmental science, engineering, or a related field
- Chartered or professional accreditation preferred (e.g., IEMA, RICS, CEnv)
