About the Role
Join Arup, a global firm of designers, planners, engineers, consultants and technical specialists, where our purpose, shared values and collaborative approach have set us apart for over 75 years. We work with infrastructure developers, property companies, governments and landowners to embed effective management of land, air and water through planning, delivery and operation of new and retrofit projects. Our services include air quality, biodiversity, noise, community engagement, environmental assessment and management, land quality, water, resources and waste, and the maintenance and protection of historic environments.

We are seeking a Senior Environmental Consultant to join the Assessments team within our Climate Change and Sustainability Services business in London. You will deliver environmental impact assessments for projects across sectors including major national infrastructure (transport, water and energy) and urban development projects. Working in a multi-disciplinary environment, you will collaborate with environmental, planning, engineering and urban design specialists, as well as internal and external technical disciplines, to provide high quality consultancy services.

Your responsibilities will include managing environmental impact assessment projects, leading technical teams, reviewing technical inputs, writing environmental reports such as EIA screening letters, scoping reports and Environmental Statements, and ensuring compliance with EIA Regulations. You will also manage project programming and budgets, liaise with clients, assist with business development and marketing activities, and provide advice on environmental mitigation and enhancement measures.

At Arup, you will be part of an extraordinary collective that values individuality and diverse perspectives. You will have the opportunity to contribute to socially meaningful work that benefits clients and communities while advancing your career.
