About the Role
At Valeo Foods UK, we are the creative force behind a diverse portfolio of beloved brands, including Kettle Crisps, Rowse Honey, Matthew Walker puddings, Barratt sweets, and Metcalfe Popcorn. We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager to join our team at the Blackpool site. This key role is focused on ensuring a safe and sustainable workplace aligned with our company values and operational standards. You will lead the delivery of our HSE strategy on site, ensuring full compliance with legal requirements and driving continuous improvement. Working closely with operational teams and central functions, you will embed a proactive safety culture where best practice is second nature and safety is always front of mind. Your responsibilities will include managing systems and procedures that support a safe working environment for colleagues, contractors, and visitors. Additionally, you will play a central role in incident investigation, risk assessments, training, and reporting, while building strong relationships across the site to support practical and effective solutions.

Experience
Demonstrable experience in a similar HSE leadership role, ideally within manufacturing or FMCG. Experience managing people, systems, and compliance processes. Strong working knowledge of current HSE legislation and best practice.

Strategic mindset with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the business. Confidence in delivering training and driving cultural change. Clear, practical communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications
NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) as a minimum.
