About the Role
Valeo Foods UK is the creative force behind a diverse portfolio of beloved brands including Kettle Crisps, Rowse Honey, Matthew Walker puddings, Barratt sweets, and Metcalfe Popcorn. We are seeking an experienced Senior Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager to join our team at the Blackpool site. This key role involves leading the delivery of our HSE strategy to ensure a safe and sustainable workplace aligned with our company values and operational standards. You will work closely with operational teams and central functions to embed a proactive safety culture where best practice is second nature and safety is always front of mind. Responsibilities include managing systems and procedures to support a safe working environment for colleagues, contractors, and visitors, leading incident investigations, conducting risk assessments, delivering training, and reporting. Building strong relationships across the site to support practical and effective safety solutions will be essential.

Experience
Proven experience in a similar HSE leadership role, ideally within manufacturing or FMCG sectors. Demonstrable ability to manage people, systems, and compliance processes effectively.

Strategic thinker with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the business. Confident in delivering training and driving cultural change. Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a practical approach to safety management.

Qualifications
NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) as a minimum. Strong working knowledge of current HSE legislation and best practice.
