We are seeking suitably qualified Senior Landscape Architects and Landscape Planners with a diverse track record to join our Landscape & Urban Design teams based in Bristol, Cardiff or Exeter. As part of the UK Environment business, you will join a passionate, motivated, and collaborative team working alongside colleagues across the UK and internationally.
In the Landscape Architect role, you will lead design projects including urban realm and mixed-use developments through all LI/RIBA stages, generally working in a BIM level 2 environment. As a Landscape Planner, you will lead, author and coordinate Landscape and Visual Impact Appraisals and Assessments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as landscape lead undertaking Landscape and Visual Impact Appraisals and Assessments
- Leading landscape design on multi-disciplinary projects
- Supporting the development of relationships with existing and new clients in both public and private sectors
- Preparing bids ranging from small to complex multi-disciplinary projects
- Managing and delegating project work to junior team members
- Client-facing role involving design advice, leading workshops and stakeholder events
- Participating in internal multi-disciplinary working groups promoting innovation, excellence and thought leadership

Experience
- Established track record authoring Landscape and Visual Impact Appraisals and Assessments
- Proven success delivering landscape and urban design projects from initial site analysis and concept design through to detailed design and production of planning and construction information

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead workshops and client meetings
- Motivated team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
- Comfortable managing and delegating work to junior team members
- Proficient in Autodesk or Bentley software and Adobe Creative Suite
Qualifications
- Degree level qualification in Landscape Architecture or recognised equivalent
- Postgraduate Diploma or Masters qualification in Landscape Architecture or recognised equivalent
