About the Role
The Senior Manager - Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) provides leadership in partnership with HealthCare business leaders and global EHS staff to drive the strategic direction and effective execution of GE HealthCare's EHS programs within the Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) business. This role is responsible for developing and implementing EHS programs and policies that reduce risk, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of safety and environmental stewardship. Additionally, the position leads the environmental sustainability strategy and execution for the PDx segment, supporting GE HealthCare's broader environmental transformation and commitment to internal and public climate goals.

Key responsibilities include leading global programs to enhance EHS performance, overseeing implementation of EHS programs to ensure compliance with laws and policies, driving accountability for EHS objectives and continuous improvement, evaluating facility conditions and risks, providing expert guidance to site EHS managers, leading compliance audits, championing EHS integration for business strategies, coaching EHS professionals, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and communicating key EHS risks and progress to senior leadership.

Experience
- Significant experience leading environmental and safety compliance programs in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated experience with global EHS regulations and program management
- Proven managerial and leadership skills including work planning, delegating, and evaluating
- Experience with EHS aspects of chemical management, product stewardship, and/or sustainability
- Pharmaceutical industry experience is highly desirable
- Demonstrated compliance leadership and understanding of global cultures
- Experience with Gensuite EHS Management System is a plus

Qualifications
- BSc or BA in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Engineering, or related field
- Fluency in English required
