About the Role
In the EU, an unprecedented wave of legislation is impacting the Selling Partner (SP) experience, constraining selection and jeopardizing growth. This increases the complexity and cost of selling in the EU and makes compliance the primary barrier to SP launches in the region. As a Senior Risk Manager in EU 3P Compliance programs, you will define the strategy and execution plans to programmatically scale a high-visibility and complex sustainability compliance program across the EU and UK. You will influence cross-VP organizations to (1) define the seller experience and engagement programs to increase compliance, (2) shape the risk appetite for executive leadership, (3) design and implement the seller enforcement and regain strategy for EU and UK marketplaces, (4) design, implement and lead simplification initiatives, and (5) support defining auditing strategies that continuously identify remaining risks and develop mitigations.

Key responsibilities include understanding compliance requirements for Amazon and its Sellers arising from specific legislation(s), shaping the risk appetite for executive leadership, reviewing seller enforcement strategy for EU marketplaces including reporting mechanisms, evolving controls to monitor compliance and improve risk posture, and leading review and auditing strategies to continuously identify risks and develop mitigations.

Experience
- Proven experience in compliance, audit, or risk management
- Strong project management skills
- Experience developing and implementing standards, policies, and programs or equivalent

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification preferred
