About the Role
West London NHS Trust is recruiting for the key position of Senior Sustainability Manager to drive forward its sustainability agenda and support the delivery of NHS net zero targets. The Trust aspires to become one of the most sustainable organisations within the NHS. This role operates within a strategic partnership between West London NHS Trust (WLNT) and Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust (CLCH), requiring collaboration with the Senior Sustainability Manager at CLCH and involvement in cross-organisational projects.
The post holder will have line management responsibility for a junior team member and will lead on integrating sustainable development into core business practices. Focus areas include the nine priorities set by the Greener NHS unit: workforce and system leadership, sustainable models of care, digital transformation, travel and transport, estates and facilities, medicines, supply chain and procurement, food and nutrition, and adaptation.
Strong relationships will be developed across all staff levels and disciplines, including Executive Directors and external experts. The role involves developing and monitoring a multi-year sustainability programme with regular internal and external reporting. Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential to succeed in this role.

Experience
Proven experience in sustainability management, preferably within healthcare or a large complex organisation. Demonstrable success in leading sustainability initiatives and managing projects across multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications
