About the Role
A leading resource recovery and recycling organisation is seeking an experienced Site Manager to take responsibility for a major processing facility in Barkston. This senior, hands-on leadership position covers safety, regulatory compliance, operational performance, plant reliability, commercial performance, and people leadership across a busy 24/6 operation.

You will be a visible and decisive operational leader with experience in waste processing, recycling, plant operations, and people management. The role requires managing all aspects of site operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of services while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Experience
- Proven operational management experience within waste, recycling, processing, or heavy industry
- Experience leading teams in high-risk operational environments
- Strong mechanical awareness and experience overseeing repairs and maintenance
- Experience working with mobile and static machinery
- Experience producing SRF and RDF (desirable)
- Experience engaging with the Environment Agency and managing permit requirements (desirable)
- Operational data systems, KPI or CMMS experience (desirable)
- Continuous improvement or Lean experience (desirable)

Qualifications
- Current WAMITAB / COTC qualification or demonstrably close to renewal
- IOSH training as a minimum
- Strong knowledge of waste regulation and permit compliance
