About the Role
Airbus Helicopters UK Ltd is the world's largest helicopter manufacturer, with its Oxford Airport site serving as Britain's civil helicopter hub. The Site Services and HSE Manager will lead and develop the Site Services and Health, Safety & Environment (HS&E) function across the Airbus Helicopters UK multi-site footprint. This senior role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of operational infrastructure, drive innovation, and uphold the highest standards of safety, environmental compliance, and building services management.
The successful candidate will oversee Environment, Health & Safety by coordinating site-level EHS leads to ensure a proactive and compliant approach. They will also guide Building Services teams, focusing on sustainable, cost-effective management of routine and non-routine building services, primarily at the £55M HQ site at Kidlington Oxford Airport. This includes close collaboration with Airbus UK Facilities Management to implement safe and efficient procedures.
Key responsibilities include setting ambitious objectives, ensuring appropriate staffing and competence, managing programme delivery with rigorous data collection and reporting, overseeing financial planning and resource allocation, and serving as a key member of the Business Management Team. The role demands championing continuous improvement and innovation across Health, Safety & Environment, Building Services, and Operational Hangar Support functions.

Experience
Proven track record in facilities and HS&E leadership within large organisations. Demonstrable ability to lead and collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams. Experience in project management including risk and opportunity management, critical path control, and variance management related to time, cost, and quality. Strong financial and contractual management skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management abilities.
