About the Role
The Blackwater Valley Countryside Partnership delivers countryside and urban green space projects as well as wider land management services for local authority and parish partners and contractually for several other organisations. You will lead this award-winning team in the development and implementation of projects that enhance and improve the local environment centred on the River Blackwater, on the Hampshire / Surrey border. Your role will involve working closely with local authority partners, other organisations and site-based groups to identify and prioritise potential projects. You will ensure successful delivery by securing resources and overseeing the selection of contractors, staff, and volunteers. A key responsibility is coordinating the projects programme, reporting to partner organisations, and managing the financial aspects of the Partnership.

Experience
Significant experience in managing land-based projects, partnership working, and budget management is essential.

About You
Excellent communication, team management, and organisational skills are required. You must be willing and able to travel to various locations within Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, or other local authorities. A current driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle on a regular basis are essential to meet the travel requirements of the role.

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in land management or project management would be advantageous but are not explicitly stated as mandatory.
