About the Role
Join Anglian Water's Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) as a Construction Environmental Manager and contribute to one of the UK's most ambitious water infrastructure projects. You will support the SPA Environmental Manager and Enabling Team in delivering strategic environmental priorities for the SPA project. Your role will ensure all relevant consents, licences, and environmental permits are in place for pipeline construction, and you will develop and review Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMP) and Environmental Impact Assessments to support current and future SPA programmes.

Working collaboratively across SPA, you will ensure compliance with the CEMP throughout delivery milestones while supporting Environmental Advisors in providing advice and guidance to delivery teams. You will be responsible for managing environmental risks, responding promptly to emerging concerns, consulting with regulators and stakeholders, and leading environmental incident investigations.

Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and submitting consent, licence, and permit applications
- Managing environmental risk and ensuring CEMP compliance
- Delivering training on environmental risk management and mitigation
- Functional management of 1-2 Environmental Advisors
- Conducting internal inspections and audits
- Identifying best practices and process improvements
- Developing training plans to upskill personnel

Qualifications
- A degree in an environmental-related subject
- Membership of a relevant professional body with knowledge of key environmental legislation
