About the Role
The Sr. Manager, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) will lead environmental, health, and safety compliance and risk reduction efforts for Kindeva Drug Delivery's UK operations. This role involves managing and motivating a team of EHS professionals while ensuring full compliance with UK EHS legislation and standards. You will act as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies, maintain key accreditations including ISO14001 and ISO45001, and drive a positive safety culture across the organisation. The role requires strategic planning and leadership in EHS initiatives, conducting investigations, and collaborating closely with operational and HR teams to embed best practices in occupational health and safety. This position offers the opportunity to influence and shape EHS performance during a period of dynamic growth and change at Kindeva.

Requirements

Experience
- Extensive knowledge of UK EHS legislation and risk management systems.
- Proven experience leading EHS in manufacturing and laboratory environments, preferably pharmaceutical.
- Demonstrated success in developing, motivating, and sustaining high-performing EHS teams.
- Experience managing EHS priorities under tight deadlines and leading cross-functional teams.
- Skilled in data analysis to drive continuous improvement.
- Experience interacting with regulatory authorities such as HSE and EA, including audits.
- Familiarity with Control of Major Accident Hazards (COMAH) regulations and process safety.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, sciences, or EHS from an accredited university.
- Minimum ten years of EHS experience in manufacturing and/or R&D environments.
- At least three years of experience leading an EHS team in manufacturing and laboratory settings.
- NEBOSH diploma required.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and/or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) credentials are a plus.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% of the time.
