About the Role
Join Thames Reach as a Support Worker within the Individual Placement Support Team, where your understanding, compassion, and commitment will be valued in supporting people affected by street homelessness. Thames Reach delivers projects and services aimed at ending homelessness in and around London by working directly with homeless individuals on the streets and in hostels, preventing homelessness, and helping formerly homeless people rebuild their lives. In this role, you will provide intensive, tailored support to clients to help them move towards suitable and sustainable employment. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, help clients identify their skills and experiences, and create action plans. Working collaboratively across the Alliance partnership, you will support both clients and employers post-employment to ensure long-term job retention and success. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including employers, will be essential. You will also ensure accurate and consistent data collection and maintain up-to-date case management records.

Experience
- Proven experience providing tailored employment support to vulnerable individuals.
- Skilled in using a personalised and strength-based approach to support individuals.
- Confident in communicating and building strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
- Dedicated to working with both employers and employees to sustain job placements.

- Ability to empower and motivate individuals, fostering confidence, resilience, and self-efficacy.
- Highly organised with strong time-management skills and able to work independently.
- Capable of maintaining clear, accurate, and up-to-date records for all clients.
- Competent in using IT tools and handling administrative tasks efficiently.
