About the Role

Join Ramboll's Sustainable Solutions team as a Sustainability Consultant and contribute to closing the gap to a sustainable future.

In this role, you will work on sustainability projects across various sectors within the UK and Europe. You will collaborate with experts in certifications, whole life carbon, circular economy, indoor environmental quality, and decarbonisation. You will thrive in a supportive team environment, working on prestigious projects with ambitious clients and project teams.

Your key responsibilities will include delivering embodied carbon calculations, BREEAM and GLA compliant Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) at different project stages, developing circular economy statements and strategies, creating decarbonisation strategies for buildings, and leading sustainable certification projects such as BREEAM, HQM, DREAM, WELL, Fitwel, and LEED. You will also host workshops and presentations, analyse project data, contribute to internal tool development and research, prepare technical reports, support junior team members’ development, and manage project budgets, timeframes, and deliverables to ensure high quality and profitability.

Experience
A minimum of 2 years' experience delivering sustainability projects within the Buildings sector, including work throughout design and construction phases. Proven track record in delivering projects involving certifications, Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs), circular economy, and decarbonisation.

About you
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to lead project meetings, liaise with clients, and convey highly technical knowledge to diverse audiences. Strong report writing skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams. Excellent focus and ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Outstanding organisational skills with the capability to manage workload, project finances, and meet deadlines. A keen interest in sharing knowledge to support Ramboll’s strategy of being 'The Partner for Sustainable Change'.

Qualifications
A relevant degree in a related field is required. Professional qualifications or certifications related to sustainability and building assessments are advantageous.
