About the Role
Are you a proven sustainability consultant eager to join an innovative team of sustainability professionals? Join Ramboll's Sustainable Solutions team as a Sustainability Consultant and contribute to closing the gap to a sustainable future. In this role, you will work on sustainability projects across various sectors within the UK and Europe, collaborating with experts in certifications, whole life carbon, circular economy, indoor environmental quality, and decarbonisation.
Your key responsibilities will include delivering embodied carbon calculations, BREEAM and GLA compliant Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) at different project stages, developing circular economy statements and strategies, creating decarbonisation strategies for buildings, and leading sustainable certification projects such as BREEAM, HQM, DREAM, WELL, Fitwel, and LEED. You will also host workshops and presentations with clients, design teams, planners, and developers, analyse project data, contribute to internal tool development and research, prepare technical reports, support junior team members' development, and manage project budgets, timeframes, and deliverables to ensure high-quality and profitable outcomes.

Experience
A minimum of 2 years' experience delivering sustainability projects within the Buildings sector, including working throughout design and construction phases. Proven track record in delivering projects related to certifications, Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs), circular economy, and decarbonisation.
About you
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to lead project meetings, liaise with clients, and convey complex technical knowledge to diverse audiences. Strong report writing skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both clients and internal teams. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage workload, project finances, and meet deadlines. A collaborative team player with the ability to work independently. Passionate about sharing knowledge and supporting the wider business to advance Ramboll's strategy as 'The Partner for Sustainable Change'.
Qualifications
A relevant degree in a related field is required. Professional qualifications or certifications related to sustainability and building assessments are advantageous but not mandatory.
