About the Role
Luminous is a strategic advisory and communications agency based in London, working with clients globally. The Sustainability & Impact (S&I) team has grown into an established group of four, offering a diversified suite of services including sustainability reporting, materiality assessments, strategy development, implementation, and internal engagement. We are seeking a Sustainability Consultant to support the development and delivery of sustainability reporting and materiality services for a growing client base. This role offers an excellent career opportunity to work with an expert team on a variety of sustainability challenges for UK-based and international clients.

Key responsibilities include delivering exceptional reporting projects by developing corporate sustainability reports, advising clients on reporting standards and frameworks such as CSRD, GRI, TPT, TCFD, UNGC, ISSB, and UN SDGs, and supporting issue-based reports like climate transition plans and social impact reports. You will also drive robust double materiality assessments, support stakeholder interviews, conduct desk-based benchmarking and research, and synthesize findings into actionable insights. Building strong client relationships through meetings and workshops, and acting as a trusted partner to client teams, is essential.

Experience
3-5 years of demonstrated experience with ESG reporting and materiality assessments. In-depth knowledge of industry standards such as GRI Standards, CSRD/ESRS, ISSB, TCFD, UNGC, and UN SDGs.
