About the Role
Join JLL as a Sustainability Data Optimization Manager, embedded within a high-profile client’s in-house team and reporting to the EMEA Head of Sustainability Data & Reporting. You will lead the optimization of sustainability data, reporting, and analytics across the client’s portfolio, driving consistency in assessment, ideation, program calibration, and reporting. This role requires a programmatic approach to managing energy, water, waste, and GHG emissions data, supporting reduction initiatives aligned with targets and KPIs, and communicating complex information clearly to enable timely, data-driven decision-making.

Key responsibilities include leading and managing a team of analysts to deliver consistent processes and insightful data outputs, developing and maintaining documented workflows for sustainability performance data, contributing to corporate sustainability strategy, and providing analytics aligned with ESG frameworks. You will own sustainability data management, resolve data quality issues, and establish strong relationships with account and client teams to ensure comprehensive support and leadership.

Additional duties involve reviewing sustainability project plans for accuracy, monitoring project effectiveness, collaborating with sustainable operations teams to promote success stories, and driving innovation in sustainability data strategy and systems. You will also provide subject matter expertise and own program components related to sustainability data management.

Requirements

Experience
- Demonstrated experience developing insights, actions, and project ideation across energy, water, GHG emissions, and waste data
- Proven track record managing complex sustainability data sources and communicating actionable summaries to stakeholders
- Experience working with corporate clients, commercial property, property managers, and understanding landlord-tenant relationships is desirable
- Strong project management skills and ability to work collaboratively with clients and stakeholders to drive sustainability performance improvements

- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information in an accessible manner
- Attention to detail and accuracy in both qualitative and quantitative work
- Ability to obtain buy-in and engagement from employees at all levels

Qualifications
- University degree in Science, Engineering, Math, or related fields
