About the Role
Join JLL's Sustainable Asset Services team to support the creation of resilient, future-proof real estate assets. You will guide clients through the evolving sustainability landscape, helping deliver retrofit, fit-out, or property transactions aligned with their ESG goals and industry-leading practices. Your work will focus on decarbonising buildings, protecting assets from climate change, and creating healthier, better places for people.

Working alongside a diverse team of engineers and sustainability professionals, you will engage with all sustainability requirements for projects, combining Net Zero Carbon (NZC) targets with critical sustainability criteria to deliver best-in-class sustainable buildings. This role offers a dynamic environment for personal learning and development within a purpose-driven team committed to leading-edge sustainability solutions.

Your day-to-day activities will include reviewing existing buildings through site surveys, as-built information, energy bills, and research to quantify key energy performance factors. You will receive training in IES(VE) dynamic thermal modelling and OneClickLCA whole life carbon assessments, assisting in creating detailed thermal models to define engineering and architectural requirements for NZC buildings. You will also contribute to sustainability design guides, research industry best practices and policies from UKGBC and LETI, undertake whole life carbon assessments, liaise with clients on sustainable design solutions, prepare energy strategies and sustainability documents for planning applications, and support ESG due diligence during property transactions.

Experience
- Passion for sustainable and Net Zero Carbon buildings
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of building fabric elements related to energy efficiency
- Understanding of UKGBC and LETI industry standards for NZC buildings

Qualifications
- GCSEs: Grade C / 4 or above in English and Maths (or equivalent)
- Degree in Building Services, Engineering, or equivalent discipline
- Postgraduate qualification in Sustainable Design or similar is desirable

Desirable Skills
- Competency in IES VE software and CIBSE TM54 thermal modelling
- Familiarity with Part L/SAP modelling
- Competency in AutoCAD and ideally Revit
