About the Role
As a Sustainability Manager at Edwards Vacuum, LLC, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the Sustainability roadmap across the SUN division, ensuring alignment with the business area intent. You will build, execute, and establish a sustainably compliant operational footprint by working closely with all functions to strategically prioritise and transform the division in line with our strategy. This role involves identifying risks and opportunities to establish resilient infrastructure that demonstrates best practice in the market.
Reporting to the VP of Engineering, you will establish a sustainability plan aligned with SUN roadmaps that successfully engages cross-functional teams. You will collaborate with divisional leadership to build and implement a sustainability roadmap aligned with divisional strategy and SBTi commitments, addressing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) requirements.
You will lead the development and support execution of sustainability initiatives across Carbon, Energy, Water, Waste, and Biodiversity, engaging supply chain leaders and divisional management to identify partners that support compliance with the sustainability roadmap. Supporting divisional leadership and product companies, you will help develop a pipeline of operational sustainability improvement projects contributing to net zero proposals and business cases.
Working with Engineering, Marketing & Product Management, Procurement, and Operations teams, you will identify requirements to develop market-leading sustainable products. You will also contribute to the overall transition plan for the semiconductor sector, identifying competency gaps and informing training needs.
Additionally, you will represent the division in external industry networks and thought leadership forums to advance opportunities for the Semiconductor Division. You will create, validate, and maintain sustainability reporting and ensure compliance with Atlas Copco climate targets, including SBTi, and align with financial measures over time.
