About the Role
Are you passionate about sustainability and eager to work for a market-leading company? This is a unique opportunity to develop and lead a company-wide sustainability strategy at Mayflower Washroom Solutions, a trusted provider of washroom hygiene services across the UK. You will have the autonomy to shape and drive the ESG strategy, working closely with internal departments to implement sustainable practices on our journey to Net Zero. This hands-on role involves consulting with customers on sustainability queries, advising on new technology and products, and collaborating with suppliers and manufacturers to support product portfolio rationalisation. You will act as an ESG champion, partnering with Sales and Marketing to communicate our sustainability initiatives. The role offers a flexible working arrangement with a mix of home and office-based work, in a fast-paced environment where you can truly make a difference.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement company-wide sustainability strategy
- Lead sustainable training internally
- Maintain compliance and submission of Planet Mark certification
- Introduce sustainability KPIs for suppliers and manufacturers
- Assist sales and account management teams with day-to-day ESG queries from customers
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to communicate sustainability strategy
- Act as an ESG champion for the business

Experience
Proven experience in sustainability management or ESG roles is highly desirable. Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing cross-functional projects will be advantageous.

You are passionate about sustainability with a strong vision to drive positive change. You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners. You are proactive, hands-on, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively. A flexible approach to working and a commitment to delivering results are essential.
Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in sustainability, environmental management, or related fields are preferred but not mandatory. A strong willingness to learn and develop within the role is important.
