About the Role
Are you passionate about driving sustainability and leading impactful projects? Walsall College is seeking a dynamic Sustainability & Projects Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of estates and building projects while embedding sustainability across our operations. You will lead college projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with curriculum needs and sustainability goals. Key responsibilities include driving the College’s net zero strategy through innovative, low-carbon solutions; managing contractors, budgets, and timelines to deliver high-quality, cost-effective outcomes; conducting sustainability impact assessments and integrating renewable technologies; collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to promote environmental best practices; monitoring carbon emissions and reporting on sustainability KPIs; and representing the College at external sustainability forums and networks.

Experience
Proven experience in project management and sustainability leadership.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, environmental legislation, and energy-efficient technologies.
Experience managing contractors, budgets, and project timelines.
