About the Role
Join Lloyds Banking Group's Supply Chain & Technology Sustainability Team on a 12-month fixed term contract to help deliver against our environmental strategy ambitions, protect nature, and support the UK's Net Zero by 2050 goal. This high-profile role focuses on improving the sustainability impacts of our supply chain by reducing supplier carbon emissions and ensuring compliance with broader Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) requirements including ethics, modern slavery, human rights, and nature.
You will manage the ESG risk lifecycle, establishing risk appetite and measurement across Climate, Nature, Social, and Governance topics. Key responsibilities include consolidating risk frameworks into a cohesive ESG risk lifecycle, identifying and addressing data or tooling gaps, building stakeholder relationships, streamlining supplier ESG risk assessments, and owning the Supply Chain nature and circular economy strategy and reporting. You will also facilitate LEAP assessments and report on the zero-waste pledge.

Experience
- Understanding of ESG regulations and frameworks
- Experience completing materiality or ESG risk assessments and managing ESG risk
- Knowledge of Nature/Biodiversity and its role in Climate Transition planning
- Proven project delivery in fast-paced environments managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong data analysis skills to interpret data and drive carbon emission reduction actions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to different audiences
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships across the business
About you
Passionate about sustainability and making a positive impact, proactive in bringing new ideas, collaborative, and able to work effectively within a team and across divisions. Experience in sourcing or supply chain management is desirable but not essential.
Qualifications
