About the Role
At Google, we believe a problem isn't truly solved until it's solved for all. As a Technical Program Manager, you will leverage your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from inception to completion. You will collaborate with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams across the company. You will be equally comfortable presenting analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing technical tradeoffs with engineers.
Your core responsibility will be to establish, implement, promote, and maintain a conforming Environmental and Energy Management System (EEMS) aligned with relevant ISO standards (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 50001). This includes managing recertification, scope expansions, and continual improvements by engaging with relevant stakeholders. You will plan and execute audits to ensure the EEMS’s conformity and effectiveness and manage the external certification audit process.
Monitoring upcoming environmental and energy regulations and collaborating with internal teams to steer program requirements will be key. You will identify and evaluate data center environmental and energy risks, designing and leading programs to mitigate those risks, ensuring alignment with EMEA environmental, energy, and sustainability regulations.
Google is committed to building a diverse workforce and fostering a culture of belonging. We provide equal employment opportunities regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any other protected status.
