About the Role
Do you want to help tackle rising energy costs and inequality? Join the award-winning Green Doctor team at Groundwork London and make a real impact by helping vulnerable Londoners make their homes warmer, safer, and more energy efficient – one visit at a time. The Green Doctors Programme partners with Local Authorities, Housing Associations, and other stakeholders to deliver expert energy-efficiency advice and practical measures across London. The programme supports vulnerable residents through home visits, phone consultations, and community sessions, offering tailored advice, hands-on help, and links to further energy and well-being services.
Key responsibilities include managing all incoming enquiries via calls, voicemails, missed calls, and email; contacting referred clients to book appointments; accurately recording client interactions on the booking system; liaising with Green Doctors regarding client queries; managing diaries to ensure efficient scheduling and full utilisation of team resources; collaborating professionally with the wider team on internal processes; building positive relationships with residents through respectful and courteous communication; providing basic energy savings advice via the Ealing Healthy Homes line; and assisting residents to access relevant complementary services and agencies.

Experience
Experience in customer service or advisory roles is desirable but not explicitly required. A caring and friendly attitude is essential.

Qualifications
No specific qualifications are required for this role. Training and development, including qualifications in energy saving and retrofitting, will be provided as part of the role.
