In fact, it’s all we think about. As a Treatment Operator - Waste Water, you’ll be on the front lines of making sure Scotland’s water is totally, dependably pure.

Day-to-day, you’ll monitor and maintain treatment processes on wastewater – everything from sedimentation to filtration. You will record key data and file reports, handle samples and test results, and recommend improvements wherever possible. You’ll also oversee regular maintenance to help keep the site and water running smoothly.
You will take part in a standby rota for out-of-hours work. While treatment plants don’t always smell pleasant, your work is vital for the good of Scotland’s water.
