About the Role
Boehringer Ingelheim is a global pharmaceutical company committed to positively impacting the health of people and animals, the planet, and communities. The EHS team at Pirbright works collaboratively across the site and occasionally with the UK and Ireland region to ensure safe working practices, health protection, environmental stewardship, and compliance with legislation and corporate standards. This role offers a dynamic environment with opportunities to develop skills in environmental management, safety programmes, audits, incident investigation, and sustainability initiatives.

Key responsibilities include supporting environmental management programmes such as waste and trade effluent management, assisting the Be Green team with green behaviour initiatives, supporting sustainability goals like zero waste to landfill and water stewardship, conducting EHS inspections and audits, participating in safety programmes and incident investigations, supporting biosafety campaigns and training, and promoting wellbeing activities across the UK and Ireland.
