About the Role
As a Cleaning and Waste Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of cleaning and waste management operations in your area. This role involves ensuring safe working practices and company procedures are always complied with, carrying out cleaning duties and general housekeeping, and ensuring waste is moved to the correct locations across the site. Training will be provided for operating baler machines if necessary.
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring the smooth running of baler machines in your area (training provided)
- Assisting with rectifying and reporting any issues arising
- Ensuring safe working practices and company procedures are always complied with
- Carrying out cleaning duties and general housekeeping of the baler area
- Ensuring waste is moved to correct locations across the site

Experience
Right to Work in the UK is essential. Experience working with balers is preferred but not required as full training will be provided. Cleaning experience is also preferred but not essential. A current FLT licence is desirable. Experience in moving waste would be advantageous.
About you
You will need your own transport due to the site location and shift times. You should be reliable, safety conscious, and willing to learn new skills. A positive attitude and ability to follow company procedures and safe working practices are essential.
Qualifications
No formal qualifications are required for this role, but relevant licences such as FLT are desirable. Full training will be provided for operating baler machines and other duties as necessary.
