We’re looking for an enthusiastic, forward-thinking Waste Services Manager to become the Council’s lead waste expert and drive both the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of our statutory waste collection service.

This is an exciting time to join us as we roll out new refuse and recycling collections—including food waste—and continue to modernise our services. Experience
Proven success delivering high-performing services in a fast-paced, pressured environment.
Strong, current knowledge of waste management legislation and statutory responsibilities.
Experience in operational management within environmental or waste services.

Ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills, with confidence producing clear reports and information for a range of audiences.

Qualifications
A relevant environmental degree or equivalent professional experience.
