The successful candidate will engage with Scottish Government, Agencies, and the Scottish Parliament to support delivery of key strategies and policies including the Wild Salmon Strategy, Biodiversity Strategy, River Basin Management Planning, the Riverwoods Blueprint Project, and the roll out of reformed agricultural payments. In parallel with work on Nature Finance, a key responsibility will be to assist members in developing high-quality applications to relevant funds to support aquatic environment restoration projects benefiting wild Atlantic salmon and sea trout. This includes supporting projects and actions identified in Fisheries Management Plans completed in March 2025.
