About the Role
Norfolk Wildlife Trust's Nature Recovery team is seeking a Wilder Landscapes Adviser to design and implement projects aimed at recovering nature at a landscape scale through effective partnerships. You will work closely with farmers and landowners to enhance habitats and biodiversity on their land by providing advice, managing projects, and delivering practical habitat improvement work. This role plays a key part in advocating for nature recovery and nature-based solutions by influencing land management practices, supporting farm clusters, developing landscape-scale nature recovery projects, and utilising tools such as ELMS and other green finance mechanisms. You will help build ecological networks that enable wildlife in Norfolk to adapt to climate change, contributing to the national Wildlife Trusts’ goal of managing 30% of the UK’s land and sea for nature by 2030. This impactful and dynamic position is based at our Norwich office with flexible working arrangements and requires some travel around Norfolk, with access to a pool vehicle or expenses reimbursement in line with policy. Join us at an exciting time to make a significant contribution towards tackling the nature and climate crisis through scalable nature recovery work across Norfolk.
