About the Role
Mott MacDonald, one of the largest employee-owned companies globally, is seeking a Graduate Arboriculturist to join their expanding Arboriculture team. You will support the delivery of arboriculture services across a diverse range of infrastructure projects, from small bespoke design commissions to some of the UK's and worldwide's most significant infrastructure developments. Key responsibilities include conducting BS5837:2012 surveys, delivering technical notes, arboricultural method statements, scoping assessments, health and safety surveys, and reports. You will also assist with tree climbing for bats and protected species surveys, provide advice on statutory designations such as TPO, CA, ASNW, perform veteran tree assessments, supervise contractors on site, and design bespoke tree protection measures.

Major projects include HS2, East West Rail, Ash Dieback disease assessment using AI, National Highways road projects, Environment Agency flood alleviation schemes, numerous water companies, Network Rail, and various Local Authorities. Mott MacDonald fosters a culture of personal development, offering support to help you excel and progress your career, including mentoring and professional training agreements.

Applicants will receive a link to complete an online assessment within two working days of application. There is no closing date currently, but early application is recommended.
