About the Role
As an Account & Applications Manager for Industrial Wastewater Treatment at Cesco Solutions, a Tidal Vision company, you will be the primary technical and commercial contact for assigned UK customer accounts. This role requires an experienced wastewater application specialist to build trusted relationships, understand treatment-plant performance in detail, and provide ongoing technical service to ensure chemical and equipment programmes operate safely, reliably, and effectively. You will conduct regular on-site and virtual account reviews, troubleshoot process issues, optimise treatment programmes, deliver operator training, and support commercial account development. The role involves frequent travel to customer sites, including overnight stays, and close collaboration with internal teams to coordinate technical, laboratory, equipment, and commercial support. You will identify opportunities to expand programmes within existing accounts and support selected new-business development where Cesco’s sustainable chemistry solutions add value. Experience
- Minimum 10 years in industrial wastewater treatment with hands-on responsibility for customer applications, process diagnosis, and treatment optimisation.
- Practical knowledge of wastewater-treatment plants, preferably handling high-organics effluent from food and beverage or related industries.
- Proven experience managing customer accounts or providing ongoing field technical service in water treatment or process chemicals.
- Expertise in coagulation, flocculation, clarification, solids separation, including DAF or similar primary-treatment processes.
- Skilled in conducting or supervising jar tests, chemical trials, sampling, dose optimisation, and treatment-performance reviews.
- Experience with chemical storage, dosing pumps, controls, application equipment, and first-line troubleshooting.
- Ability to interpret operational and laboratory data and produce clear, practical written recommendations.
- Strong record of building customer relationships, maintaining account satisfaction, and identifying growth opportunities.
- Working knowledge or ability to rapidly develop knowledge of UK trade-effluent consents, discharge compliance, COSHH, and safe chemical handling.
- Full UK driving licence, right to work in the UK, and willingness to travel regularly including overnight stays.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, HNC, HND or equivalent professional experience in chemistry, biology, environmental science, chemical engineering, water treatment, or related field.
- Preferred 5-10 years’ experience in industrial water-treatment chemicals, wastewater applications, or technical account management.
- Experience supporting food, beverage, seafood, meat, poultry, dairy, brewing, distilling, rendering, or other high-COD industrial wastewater accounts is advantageous.
- Familiarity with chitosan, biopolymers, metal-salt coagulants, organic coagulants, polymers, or related chemistries.
- Proven success in retaining and growing technically complex customer accounts and converting applications into commercial programmes.
- Competent in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM systems.
- Valid UK driving licence and appropriate business-use insurance if using a personal vehicle for work.
