Within this practice, the Infrastructure Finance business unit provides modelling, model audit, valuations, training and advisory services to clients across EMEA and the Americas, from regional hubs in London, Paris, New York, Toronto, Johannesburg and Delhi.
The Associate Director will support Partners and Directors in further developing the Advisory and Valuations service lines by delivering high-quality services across a range of clients within the energy and infrastructure sector. This includes acquisitions, valuations, sales, fundraisings, bid advisory and debt raisings.
The role involves leading advisory and valuation assignments through proactive project management and providing commercial and sector-based direction to a broader team of sector specialists. Time is typically split 50:50 between advisory and valuation assignments, though this may vary based on client needs.
Key responsibilities include managing transaction documentation, researching potential buyers/sellers, leading assignments, building strong client relationships, providing tactical advice on complex transactions, and ensuring projects are managed in line with quality and risk procedures. The role also involves managing valuation engagements, including project planning, analysing valuation issues, reviewing market evidence, financial modelling, report writing, and financial management of projects.
Additional responsibilities include mentoring junior team members, developing client deliverables and processes, building market relationships, and supporting business development activities. There is potential for line management responsibilities across London, Delhi and Pune.
The role requires close collaboration with colleagues across Transaction Services, Tax and other advisory teams to provide an integrated deal advisory offering and to promote sector knowledge internally and externally.
