About the Role
Forvis Mazars' Energy, Infrastructure & Environment practice is trusted by the world's leading investors and developers to deliver a broad range of services. Within this practice, the Infrastructure Finance business unit provides modelling, model audit, valuations, training and advisory services to clients across EMEA and the Americas from regional hubs including London. This role supports Partners and Directors in developing the Advisory and Valuations service lines by delivering high-quality services across energy and infrastructure sector clients, including acquisitions, valuations, sales, fundraisings, bid advisory and debt raisings.

The successful candidate will lead advisory and valuation assignments, managing projects proactively and providing commercial and sector-based direction to a team of specialists. Time will be split approximately 50:50 between advisory and valuation work, with flexibility based on client needs. Key responsibilities include managing transaction documentation, client relationships, financial modelling, valuation analysis, report writing, and project financial management. The role also involves mentoring junior team members, developing client deliverables, and contributing to business development.

This position offers potential line management responsibilities across London, Delhi and Pune teams and requires close collaboration with colleagues across Transaction Services, Tax and other advisory teams. The role is suited for candidates with significant experience in the energy and infrastructure sector and strong project management skills, with the opportunity to operate at Manager or Associate Director level depending on experience.

Requirements

Experience
- Several years of deal advisory and valuation experience in the energy and infrastructure sector (minimum 6 years for Manager level, 8 years for Associate Director level)
- Strong track record in M&A or financing transactions within the sector
- Proven project management skills and ability to meet demanding deadlines
- Advanced financial modelling capabilities and knowledge of market-standard valuation techniques
- Demonstrated ability to build enduring client relationships through repeat work
- Experience managing junior team members (for Manager level)
- Detailed understanding of engagement and risk processes in an accountancy firm context

About you
- Highly proactive and confident team player with excellent client relationship skills
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret and present complex results clearly
- Self-motivated, ambitious and driven by a passion to provide excellent client service and grow the business
- Excellent written and oral presentation skills
- Strong MS Office skills, especially PowerPoint and Excel
- Fluent in English (written and verbal); fluency in a second EU language is desirable

Qualifications
- Accounting and/or broader finance qualifications such as ACA or CFA are desirable but not essential
