About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Operations and Maintenance team at Lancashire Renewables Ltd. As an Anaerobic Digestion Operative (ADO), you will be responsible for managing day-to-day reception and front-end operations, ensuring the safe and efficient unloading of household food waste. You will oversee the correct loading of the hammermill/de-packaging line/feed hopper and ensure smooth transfer to the hydrolysis/AD feed system. The role includes supporting plant start-up and shutdown, performing routine checks of key process parameters, maintaining housekeeping standards, managing traffic control, and providing hands-on assistance with wider waste-processing activities as required. This role is vital to the smooth operation of the Leyland facility and contributes directly to sustainable waste management in Lancashire.
Experience
National Plant Operators Registration Scheme or equivalent certification for FEL, FLT, and Tele-truck. Knowledge of basic mobile plant inspections and checks.
About you
Good communication skills including radio use, strong organizational abilities, effective teamwork, and mechanical aptitude. A proactive and safety-conscious approach is essential.
Qualifications
Relevant plant operator certifications as noted above. Ability to pass a company medical including drugs and alcohol testing. Eligibility to work in the UK is required.
