About the Role
Around the world, SYSTRA’s specialists plan, design, integrate, test, commission, project manage and deliver mass transit and mobility solutions relied on by more than 50 million people every day. For over 60 years, the Group has been committed to helping cities and regions develop by creating, improving and modernising transport infrastructure with sustainability, accessibility and innovation at the heart of our designs. With over 10,300 colleagues globally and around 1000 in the UK & Ireland, we are growing significantly and seeking the very best talent to join the SYSTRA signature team and lead the way in infrastructure design.

The role focuses on the design of Linear Infrastructure and Transportation and will technically support other Product Lines in the UK and overseas. You will be part of a team of UK engineers delivering projects for a diverse portfolio of UK clients.

Your main duties will include supporting and assisting the Landscape Discipline Lead on project deliverables within a wider multi-discipline environment. Deliverables include landscape masterplans, planting specifications, landscape technical details, maintenance plans and design reports. You will assist with production and technical deliverables across all project stages, from concept design through to detailed design, producing high quality graphic output using both digital and hand-drawn techniques, as well as detailed general arrangement plans and technical landscape detailing.

You will be creative in delivering graphic output using 2D and 3D techniques and assist in developing and implementing processes to improve efficiency and quality of output within the discipline and on individual projects. This includes disseminating information within the Landscape discipline and communicating effectively with other disciplines.

Additional responsibilities include reviewing environmental and technical standards and applying them to projects, organising and documenting internal meetings and reviews, ensuring effective communication among all stakeholders, and demonstrating enthusiasm and initiative for the profession of Landscape Architecture. You will actively engage with both the landscape discipline and other professional disciplines to promote our expertise, ensuring allocated tasks are completed efficiently within time and budget constraints and responding accurately and timely to queries from within the Landscape discipline and other teams.
