About the Role
Are you interested in Environmental Monitoring and Consultancy? This is an excellent opportunity to excel as an Assistant Environmental Consultant and play a vital role in helping our business succeed. As SOCOTEC UK Limited grows and develops, we are expanding our Environment & Safety Division and are looking for a dedicated Assistant Environmental Consultant to join our Environmental Consultancy Team.

In this role, you will be proactive, reliable, and flexible, balancing independence with strong teamwork. Your tasks will include soil and water sampling, supervision of ground investigation and remediation, environmental monitoring, and producing factual and interpretative reports across a range of technical disciplines.

Our Environmental team consists of specialists operating in various areas of expertise, covering Environmental Monitoring and Consultancy alongside specialist laboratories. Our services range from on-site monitoring and sample collection for local businesses to large government contracts, consultancy on contaminated land projects, and on-site works for dust, noise, and local exhaust emissions. We pride ourselves on our ability to consult, monitor, and test for clients, supporting all their needs in one place with highly trained employees.

Experience
Background in environmental consultancy and knowledge of the industry are essential to thrive in this role.

Qualifications
Relevant scientific or environmental degree.
Full UK driving licence.
